Every factual claim on this site — distances, ferry times, temperatures, history, the island's food and churches — was independently checked against credible sources in June 2026, and we grade those sources by reliability: official and primary sources first, travel blogs last. Where a fact rests on our own knowledge as the owners (the villa itself, our rates, our energy data), we say so plainly. We fix mistakes when we find them — and if you spot one, please tell us.
